How to change 4 direction keys?

I play MKX on PS4 and I'm having big trouble with all command throw input (DBF2). When I played injustice I changed my L1 button to function as DOWN, so I can press Catwoman's D1 catclaws or Batgirl D1 bola consistently without messing up the input into whips or something bad. My question is: How can I do this with MKX? It looks like I can't edit 4 direction keys to swap with other keys. Please help me

So basically the dpad stays the same but u can also map down to any button?

I'm gonna check it out when I get home, hope it works too cause command throws are a pain to pull off on real matches.
