Other sites have said to go to options from the main menu and select Email Subscription and then go to your Notifications and I'm doing exactly that, however I'm not getting the Notification. Is there another requirement that I missed?
It's been a while since I have done this but I'm pretty sure you have to at least restart the game and wait an hour then check notifications and it will be there. Have you gotten it to work yet?
