How do command throws interact in Injustice

How exactly do command throws interact with each other in Injustice. I was playing online and did Bane's super against Grundy, he did his trait throw and we both just passed straight through each other?

Certain attacks are classified as throw invincible. All command throws are throw invincible, so other command throws will pass through.

That's really interesting that the super whiffed against a command throw...that could be useful.
