I need help from you guys. Coming from a Cyrax player, my strategy was to spam nets, pressure that lead to command grabs, resets, etc...

I'm so ensconced in Mk9 mode I have no fkn clue what I'm doing with Lex. I find him clunky and slow, but I'm trying to familiarize myself with him and the differing style Injustice has compared to Mk9.

So as Lex what am I trying to do to win the match? Like Cyrax' M.O. is a net and a dream. What are some of Lex' setups that lead to big damage combos?

One other thing, is a meter burn the same as EX in Mk9? If I want an ex bomb I do ff4+r2...why is it when I want to do meter burns with special moves it doesn't come out smoothly like ex moves do. Is there a timing difference?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks guys.

I think the EX is different for most moves, Batman's EX straight grapple isn't df1+R2 its df1,R2. See the move list and go over the move you wan't to EX, I think it tells you how to do it ex.

Meter Burn in this game is hit confirmable or an added effect to special moves. Basically you what you do is:

1. Do the Special Move.
2. Special Move hits, is within range, or wasn't interrupted.
3. Press MB button to turn the Special Move into it's EX version.

For example, with Lex Luthor:

1. When his vacuum grab (db+2) hits press MB to have the EX effect.
2. When using his unblockable laser projectile (df+3) press MB button right after doing the input to turn it into the EX version with a missile rain.

Noob's saibot or noob saibot's?
112 is a nice set up tool u can cancel into his shield after combos once the sheild is up u can get the zoning advantage , play around with mines to keep yourself protected
id usually end combos wit 11 shield so they stay close and i can keep pressure other than that this game feels very fluid and creative , so once u get a day or two play time under u.. set ups will start to pop into your head

A setup someone told me about when I was streaming the demo is U3 DD3F BF2 B3 (when they are getting shocked by the mine) ji3 11 ex vacuum 112 df3 (you can end it with anything really that would lead into another setup).

With that said I don't play Lex at all, I just know this combo to build Batman meter =)

Can someone explain to me the bounce moves? Can those be used in combos? Or after combos are executed?

Also what exactly are bounce cancels? Is that like cancelling Rain's Superkick basically?
