Hidden throw animations?

I should have captured this, but I was playing a match some time ago as Johnny Cage vs. Sonya and myself and my opponent were blown away at the fact that one of his throws were different...

It was almost like Kenshi's throw.

I haven't been able to recreate the scenario and to my dismay, PS4 didn't capture the video.

Can anyone confirm alternate throw animations in the game?
