help me with freddy please

i am having the hardest time geting freddy moving

can some one give me some tips with him please

i have come from smoke to freddy and the play style feels like night and day to me.

I also play Smoke and didnt have too much trouble transitioning. For one, Freddy and Smoke have (basically the same) Dream Shift/ Smoke Away(Towards) which is effective for quick advancement or retreat. Nightmare Stance can also be used to get in fairly quickly.
