I don't think Kratos was ever touched because he was banned in tournaments. They didn't nerf his damage output or anything since day 1.

He needs it. Not a "Cyrax needs it" sort, but the "Jade needs it" kind. So I think.

Thanks for the tip. But about the D+B+1, F4 thing: Negative Edge may get you to accidentally activate the Golden Fleece. So caution is needed when using this input shortcut.

Kratos' corner infinite is 2,1xxHDC~repeat. It is a "to-the-frame" kind of thing, like Kabal's 2xxNDC block infinite.
As Axel said, Kratos used to be able to cancel out of his standing 4. This was removed because it made for easy 50+% EX combos in situations where Kratos now normally only gets up to 45%.

Kratos wouldn't be anywhere near as threatening if his damage output was nerfed further.
Also, guys, guise: Kratos has a midscreen infinite with 2xxHDC~repeat. It's also similar to his corner infinite in the high execution barrier.
