Hauppage help, Batman

Hi guys and gals, i tried to set up my hauppage on ps3, im not sure if anyone has or knows it uses component cable, and then hauppage connects to tv via hdmi, and then usb to pc, after alot of fiddling about i managed to record in hd so i recorded a ranked match, weird thing is the colour when playing through the hdmi is whack , because its set to component, it all looks more yellow looking and im getting thru wavy lines intefearng, but when i dont record and revert back to my normal display settings hdmi, it looks perfect colour, here is the recorded match you will notice the intefearence and weird colour tint, any tips much appreciated, could it be a dodgy commponent cable ?

Make sure that your Blue and Green video lines aren't swapped and/or loosely secured on the back of your pvr.

thank you prouddisciple, i got in and i checked all the colours wer ein there correct colours it appeared they were however there was a red going into red and a red going into yellow, so i swapped thease arround as all the rest matched up, now it looks perfect no flickering and perfect colour going to record a ranked match to final test but im sure its sorted thx again

First of all, do you have the original Hauppauge HD PVR or the second one which is the Gaming Edition?

i have the second one pvr2 but its sorted now thx anyways
