Happy Birthday MKDA!!!

Who else is celebrating MKDA's birthday today with some gameplay of that tonight? I know I am.

After all these years and all the other games, MK Deadly Alliance is still one of the best in the franchise for me. This was definitely the most anticipated game of all time for me, not just MK or fighting, but of all games. Also this was the MK game that came the closest to portraying real martial arts in a game format, which I loved.

I played it yesterday and it made me so happy! I'd missed playing it. I love that game! I love the slower and more deliberate pace of the gameplay, the brighter graphics for characters and environments, the fact that each character has three martial arts available to them, and the variety of the trait moves.

I also really like the Konquest mode (the way it blends learning various moves and combos with the character's story is really good) and the overall martial arts-y theme of the game. MKDA really is a masterfully done game.
