Has it seriously been a month since I checked this site? Unacceptable.
We run our own stuff on 360, tournaments in Toronto have been using PS3

I picked up MK last week and it feels fun enough to play at a moderate/high competitive level to me.

Considering I know a lot about the game already, it shouldn't be too hard for me to learn quickly. I just have to grind out a lot of matches to condition myself to common play styles.

Speaking of grinding: Roguelike, we need to run the MK grind next time we see each other.

Quick update on tournaments coming up:
DMGS LAN 1.0 - 360 (Info Here)on August 20-21. Details still being ironed out, looking like a 10PM start at this time

T12 - PS3 (Info Here) on September 24th - 25th

As the Street Fighter group down here is doing casuals tomorrow:
411 East Main St, Welland Ontario.
Usually goes from 1pm - 10pm. Don't know what time I'll show up but I'll bring a 360 setup just for MK

what does everyone play with a fight stick or controller

i got a pdp stick i dont mind it but i have a mad kats with the combat plate with it and that's what i use the most

Standard Mad Katz TE. It's just more convenient than lugging around a separate stick/layout
