Good at MK9 but I suck MK10

Anyone else having this problem.I was pretty good at MK9 or have I not put enough time into game yet or is just different style of game more along lines of SF or Injustice.I have noticed the inputs are way tighter in MKX,but maybe it could be the PS4 controls.I going try new controller today see if that helps been seeing alot of input video and threads about combos are more time specific. IS It just me or anyone else feel same why about MKX Thanks TYM.

I'd say you're being hard on yourself, the game is only 4 days old. You need time to adjust to the engine, I felt the same on day 1. But now everything is starting to click, just keep practising.

The game hasn't been out a week. There is no way to learn MU's and etc. at this point. We're still at a very early "discovery" stage.

My best advice...stop playing and/or thinking that this game plays or will play like MK9. It's an entirely new game and should be treated as such.

i've found that it's best to forget about big kombos and focus more on footsies. dash in when opponent is grounded. mb interactable and can attack whilst using an interactable to jump.

You picked up your controller thinking this would play like MK9 but it doesnt..

Its a new game with a whole new feel...it will just take some getting used to, just grind out the part where you suck

Throw in a bit of street fighter as well. It's coming together slowly for me, but there's so much to learn. Thank the elder gods for frame data (albeit, slight iffy) and 10 times better practice mode than MK9
