Glitch vs subzero/cyber subzero slide?

Kratos' forward 4, 2 combo does not work after blocking an reg or ex slide from cyber subzero or an ex slide from subzero. Is this because of some wired property they are in after a blocked slide? I cant seem to get similar results after blocking reptile's slides. Anyone one else notice this?

aye cant punish low special with f42, have to go with 21 db2 starter.
