Give it up.. FOR THE WC PLAYERS AT MLG

A very impressive showing from the WC who had to hear for months how inferior they were.

DJT - This guy is totally calm, cool, and collected. Is there a better poker face then Denzell's? Dude stepped up big time. IMO, he showed he is one of the absolute best in the world.

MIT - Its upsetting that only 1 match of his got on stream. He played so well over the weekend, just BARELY missing the top 8. Love him or hate him, there is no longer a debate on if he is a top player.

Tyrant - Can this guy have redeemed himself any better? Think about all he had to hear from MLG winter championships till present, he responded BIG TIME and put any doubters to rest.

Shoryuken - Solid showing from him. He had one of the biggest upsets in the tournament when he eliminated maxter. Solid play the entire weekend.

Pboard Player - First of all.. this guy is the best magician lol... His play was super solid all weekend. He took REO to the last round, such a close match and its a shame that it wasn't streamed. Great match vs Dizzy as well in top 16, so close..

Xblades - Dude, I know you're upset by just missing top 16.. but you are a great player and have nothing to hang your head low about.

Krayzie - So close to top 16, you still played well. Wish we could have got some of your games streamed.



There are just too many WC players to list.. Props to EGP Compton, the guy let us play at his loft the entire weekend, the guy was an awesome host to us all and I wish he and all of EGP the best.

EVERYONE.. LETS ALL GIVE SOME PROPS TO THE WEST COAST GUYS!!

So fucking true Tom. WC was def shitted on for monthes and they actually put on a better performance than the EC did at MLG. Good shit WC. MIT/Denzel brothers impressed the hell out of me and Tyrant has levelled up a lot in the past few monthes. Cant wait to play you guys some day.

I'm not even going to lie: I thought the west coast would be free as fuck going into this (apart from my boy Xblades), and I was forced to eat my own words. Vegas stepped up HARD, and Socal was not far behind. I was thoroughly shocked by the outcome of this tournament. Tyrant beat REO, Shory beat Maxter, and Denzel beat Jr. West coast made it expressly clear that they can hang with NY, who have gone undefeated for so long now. There's really no higher accolade in this scene. Big props to the west coast guys.

Also, a huge shoutout to EMP Menoutis' immaculate commentary, which was rivaled only by that of EGP Drunkblades' performance on saturday night.

Thanks a lot, Tom. I'm happy to hear things are changing in time for Evo. Its time to realize how thick the competition will be in Vegas once everyone meets up again.

And I definitely will use this to encourage everyone to keep playing the game, and not give up. There are no unbeatable teams, all it takes is hard work and determination.

One more thing to add. This tournament was the best thing ever to happen to the MK community. For so long the same people have been dominating and people were bored at watching. Change is always good and the upsets just made the MK community more hype. With that said, I think the top guns on the EC didn't take those guys seriously and it cost them. I really want to see how EVO is going to play out now. EC is going to come into EVO hungry and pissed.

In the streams and on the VSM mic ive played around like the WC was trash but I know for a fact that MITDJT knew from the get go that I was/am a big fan of the Vegas crew and all the EGP guys too!

The EC vs WC rivaly should never die though or be looked down on. The Kommunity needs to embrace a Coastal Rivalry as long as the line of respect isnt crossed over than its all good, nah' mean ?


And yes I lost a 100$ bet to Marvaz but lets be honest it was a retrdedly hard bet for me to win lol... I bet Curbo wouldnt lose to a WC player (there was what like 75 out of 80 players from the WC?).. The chips were stacked againt my bet , but I love those kind of bets...
