GGA Pimpimjim wins Ghost Battle Series # 7! (10/3/13)

Thursday's Ghost Battle Series event had a number of wild upsets and great character variety all throughout the 18-man bracket. This marks GGA pimpimjim's 3rd Ghost Battle Series victory, pulling ahead of the other event winners GGA Slips and GGA 16 Bit who have 2 GBS wins each. GGA Pimpimjim ran through the whole bracket in winners' eventually beating out GGA soonk's Aquaman in winners' finals with his Lex Luthor.

A few of the key upsets earlier in the night included up-and-coming Harley player McCutty Mayham (are you on TYM yet?) defeating last weeks' champion GGA 16 Bit in a very close set, then going on to defeat Bane master Emperor_Max (@Maxintensity25). Also, Hruza Da Bruza broke into the top 4 overall (his goal he set since training at GGA) by upsetting GGA 16 Bit, GGA Jeremiah, and GGA Slips in losers bracket with his Nightwing.

Emperor_Max (@Maxintensity25) came out and showed why his Bane is considered one of the best in the world; After losing to McCutty Mayham in the 2nd round of winners, he tore a hole through the losers bracket, defeating all challengers until making his way back to grand finals against GGA Pimpimjim.

Unfortunately for Emperor_Max, GGA Pimpimjim's character variety and play-style were too much to handle, as Pimpimjim's was able to secure a commanding 3-0 win in grand finals with the recently buffed up Shazam.

I always thought cheesy runaway shazam was hidden top tier. I feel like he can outzone Green Lantern by spamming bolt from full screen, with occasional torpedoes and teleports on reads to gain the life advantage.

Jokes aside, good job GGA pimpimjim, only advice I have is that you can combo from d1 on hit to HM grab if you did not know.
