So as explained in the video the main point of this setup while using it in the corner is the forward dash after the MB spear to make your j2 cross up, although some will use crossover j3.
As mentioned when using it on midscreen interactables like the pig its just luck most of the time if your MB spear lands you in front of the interactable
Keep in mind some interactables are reusable
Be aware also that after a select few of these a follow up non escapable MB hellfire is possible for another 9% unscaled on top of the unscaled damage you just done with the interactable
With all this scorpion can reach corner combo damage off 1bar+trait to 50-60% depending on starter and maxing out at the 70% mark with 2bars if a MB hellfire was used and of course traitless versions are possible also.
