The PNW scene isnt as popular as some of the other scenes. A big part is that we are tucked away from the rest of humanity and only a select few of us travel. But that doesnt mean we dont have talented players here. I wanted to give you guys the chance to get to know some of our most consistant placers going into NWM, and get you familiar with them so you can place your bets on who will be our NWMVI champion! These stats have been pulled from the results of the last 10 slugfests, since Injustice has come out.
Lintality aka Duncan T
Most know him through Killer Instinct, getting Top 8 on a few occasions, as well as KOF being the NWM champion in the past but Duncan showed up the first Injustice tournament that had 30+ people and won the tournament with Killer Frost and Soloman Grundy. He was never seen in the scene again until last years NWM where he finished just outside the top 8. Some have called him "The poor mans Chris G" hes always a threat and you never know when he might show up and win a tournament.

Clark
Clark was our dominant champion for a long time and has only been sent to losers by EMP Riyo and Trevar. He is also the 2013 Canada Cup champion outplacing Chris G and PR Balrog taking 1st place. He holds the most slugfest wins.

Trevar is a prodigy among gamers being only 16 years young and having been competing for 2 years already, "The White Sonic Fox" has placed 2nd at NWM last year and has competed consistently at every slugfest event. He has the skill and the knowledge to place and he is prepping hard.

The BatMuchacho
Our resident batman player, hes found his stride as of late and has been taking tournaments like its nobodies business. He recently showed off an impressive soloman grundy and black adam showing hes no one trick pony! A favorite to win NWM

Kevin7
Kevin keeps his training to himself and has made it known publicly its him against the scene. One of our stronger players and few travelling players Kevin has competed in MK at MLG anaheim, as well as at SCR 2014 in injustice and MK. Its unknown who kevin will use as hes found success with Green Lantern, Black Adam, Batman and MMH. He took third last year at NWM and has been in hiding since SCR practicing whoever hes going to bring out at NWM. Hes coming for blood and 1st place.

Continuously called by most here as "The most Handsome man in the PNW" if Dink shows up you probably shouldnt get your hopes up about getting that 2nd place spot. Always the bridesmaid and never the bride, Dink has managed to drop the soap on numerous occasions and continues to be almost a threat to anyone looking for that 1st place prize.

Other Entrants include HeyZeus who has won one slugfest upsetting Kevin7 in the finals and costing a controller its life. Redgie the returning NWM champion has only placed 3rd once at slugfest events since winning a major. Joey classic has placed first and 2nd once each at slugfest.
MK FACTS
MK9 was recently announced as an official sidegame at NWM! Here are the slugfest stats going into NWM.
STB|EGP Shujinkydink has won MK at Slugfest Six times, being the most consistant NRS placer in either game. His 6 month streak was recently ended by Trevar, who is the NWMV MK champion.
DavS13 has placed 2nd 3 times, and 3rd once. and Has only ever lost to Dink and Trevar.
Kevin7 has placed 2nd 4 times, but was dominant before NWMV.
