Getting over that plateau....

Im new to the TYM site and wasnt sure about how to go along doing this. I've played fighting games competitively in the past. Injustice is the first game where I've been placing very well in the tournies I've enterd so far in my scene (SA TX). First tourney out of 20 placed 2nd. Second tourney out of 26 placed 7th. Third tourney placed 5th out of 24. IN NO SHAPE OR FORM AM I BRAGGING!!!! I'm just trying to look at myself and am open to tips. I posted in the Superman threads because I (gasp!) play Supes. Any tips would be helpful. Does anyone think that Supes needs a seconndary? Either way glad to be apart of the forums

Supes does not in any way need a secondary. With enough guile and reaction time, his worst matchup is a 6-4 at best.

I find that the best tip with superman, is not to overestimate yourself. Play it patient, and sometimes let your opponent make mistakes. I find supermen who walk backwards a lot scarier than ones that dashforward.

yeah, its good not to go crazy with f23 and shit, but to patiently wait and whiff punish. superman can whiff punish almost everything if he knows his spacing. think of his f23 as of fei longs rekka. and you get nice zoning tools and air mobility as a bonus
