Get into a ranked match, no names displayed and can't select character

It's happened to me a few times now where I'll get into the ranked match character select screen and I can't choose a character. Names aren't displayed either. Only thing you can do is change map, but you are stuck at the select screen for infnity. I waited 10 minutes and the game didn't figure itself out. Seems the only antidote to this glitch is to leave.

Anyone else encountered this BS?

It's been happening to me since I first started playing online. Happens rarely, but there's nothing you can do but quit. From my experience, quitting does not count as a loss for you.

Okay seriously though, never seen this specifically, but smh, when will it ever end? There's something they ain't telling us..

man this old news but yeah this happens pretty rare during online matches. but often enough to be a problem, but it really doesn't matter that much in the long run

This only happens on XBOX. I say this because I have MK9 on PS3 and I have never experienced this, but it happens more than slightly at my comrade's where he uses XBOX.
