General Shao Kombos

So I've been using Sub Kameo because freeze allows you to activate your damage buff and he can get 40 off s2.

I've been doing 22 fR1 df1 b2 b2 22 ex db3 df4 22df2 and that's 39%.

You can get more with Sareena but Sub just takes care of the problem of getting in.

Anybody got consitent fatal combos I can land from bnb punish, jump in combo and b2? The fatal link after pop up, s2 to is tight. I still miss it most of the time.,

Pick Motaro kameo for easier FB combos. Motaro changes the initial animation of Shao's FB. Press (or spam) R1 once you do the FB. This allows the FB to be connected to combos and strings otherwise impossible to do so.

Nice ty. I see what you mean. I've been trying some with loa and some just seem a frame to short no matter what I do. Motaro's punch is a better hit box it seems. Nice one :)

Without axe B32 gives a pop up if opponent bounces. For now I got f122 df4 b32 f22 db3. It gives alot combo potential

You can connect the FB by also doing 22xFB with Motaro kameo and it connects. Perfect for whiff punishing.

12xdf4, b32, b32, s4xdf2. Deals 35% dmg.

12xdf4, b32, b32, 22xdf2. Deals 36% dmg.

B2, b2, b1xdf4, micro dash, 22xdf2. Deals 34% dmg.

f122xdf4, b32, b32, s4xdf2. Deals 38% dmg (jesus...).

Meterless midscreen combos:

12xdf4, b32, b32, micro dash, 22xdb3. Deals 34% dmg.

Took the combo of @Disasterpiese and fired it up a notch: f122xdf4, micro dash, b32, b32, dash cancel, 22xdb3. Deals 36% dmg. Connecting the 1st b32 requires an extremely fast dash cancel. Its a bit tricky.

b2, f4xdf4, dash cancel, 22xdf2. Deals 31% dmg. Might not need to dash cancel, depends on the height f4 hits the opponent.

b2, b2, 2xdf4, 22xdf2. Deals 32% dmg.

b2, b2, b1xdf4, 22xdf2. Deals 34% dmg.

Shao probably has the best dmg in the game without resources.

I ll keep updating my post if i find any more stuff.

Awesome bro you put me on the b32 pain train ♥ I'll try all these today. You should make clips of these and post them. Everyone is still looking for tech and opties. Thank you brother Shao.

Nice pick up my man. I tried the b32 online, and.. its pretty hard to land. But I do think its the most damaging route

You can get b3,2 3 times off of NAf2 or NAb3xxdb3 in the corner.

I usually do something like:
NAf2, b32, dash, b32, b32, f4xxlow-hat to set up the low-overhead mix and blow up armored reversals. 28% with the lowhat set up, 31% if you end with 4xxdb3 or 33% if your axe is in the corner and you end with 4xxdf2

You can also get 40% meterless if your axe is in the corner with:

NAb3xxdb3, b32, dash, b32, b32, 4xxdf2

That said, if you carried to the corner from midscreen and land either starter, make sure your axe doesnt come back mid combo. Speaking from experience, It feels fucking terrible lol

Yes, but I figured out you could get 41% if you do 22 fr1 df1 b2 ji12 land 22 exfb3 df4 2 df2

Something like that is the optimal damage route for Sub Zero combos but if you want to keep the axe on the ground you can end with another knee
