Blue Blurs for Life!
Initially before Season 3's launch, Iron Galaxy had informed the community that, unlike with Seasons 1 and 2, not every new character that is added to the game would receive its own level. The only members of the Season 3 cast coming with specialized stages would be Arbiter (Arena of Judgment), Kim Wu (Chinatown Brawl) and Tusk (Icehaven). However, every character would receive their own soundtrack thanks to the duo of Atlas Plug and Celldweller.
But when the Eyedol update dropped, we got thrown for a loop!
If you go to the stage select screen and look below the random select box, you will see a hidden level called the Astral Plane. However, the requirement to unlocking that level is to defeat Gargos in the Shadow Lords mode, and that won't be launched until September 20th according to this post from the Killer Instinct Twitter.
It didn't take long for the players to find a workaround, though!
As the above video demonstrates, if you face off against Gargos in the single-player Survival mode, you will be able to fight on the Astral Plane! It doesn't exactly make up for its absence in the multiplayer mode, but hopefully it will tide you over while we wait for the chance to unlock this amazing battleground!
