One can only imagine how many viewers were gripping the edges of their seats very tightly when greeted with the Grand Finals of this next Break Weekly tournament. Once again, the tug-of-war for the championship belt came down to EMP KDZ 's Superman and G4C/RG Rico Suave 's Black Adam. Earlier in the tournament, we got a glimpse of what appears to be a new character in KDZ's arsenal (Wonder Woman), but after losing a match with her in the early rounds of the tournament, he quickly reverts back to Superman and fights his way to Winner's Finals for yet another chance to reclaim his rule over his territory.
Rico sent KDZ to Loser's Bracket yet again, expanding upon his streak from the previous two weeks of the tournament series. But there is nothing that can shake the determination of the Evolution 2013 Kryptonian champion, who patiently waits for EMP Riyo to join him in Loser's Finals before forcing him down to his knees so as to advance to Grand Finals.
For those who were betting upon Rico to take the tournament with ease, their perspectives would be shaken drastically by what was to come...

Coming from Loser's Bracket, KDZ manages to shatter expectations to pieces and beat back Rico's Black Adam with a 3-1 victory, which forced a bracket reset in the Grand Finals! At this point, it appeared that KDZ had finally turned the tables and figured out the gaping holes in Rico's strategy. And as soon as he established a 2-1 lead in the reset, the tension increased to unspeakable levels. Was Rico Suave's championship streak finally about to be ended?
No, it was not! Although somewhat flustered, Rico's aim to win surged into overdrive and his strong adaptation ability pulled him back from the depths of defeat, ending the Grand Finals with a 3-2 victory in favor of Rico's Black Adam to ensure that his double reign in The Break Weekly and Next Level Battle Circuit would continue! Congratulations to Rico!
Although with how close Rico had come to meeting his end in this tournament, we definitely cannot count out EMP KDZ. He'll be back next week for another chance to bring about an outcome different from the one we witnessed tonight.
