Some funny stuff I have gathered around MK.


Its Judge Dredd Arcade Game from Midway, only got in beta stadium.
In the first stage Goro acts as a pet =)


This is probably old stuff for most of you but maybe someone doesnt know it, there is Pac-Man and a Ghost in one of the MK1 Stages hidden.
Midway actually made a version of Pac-Man by the way.



Do you ever asked yourself what Shang Tsungs Friendship has to mean in MK3/U?
No? I will tell it you anyway, its the Hero of an very old Midway game called "Joust".


As you can see this is MK II for SNES, but why its Black&White?
Because its Mortal Kombat II - Kyuukyoku Shinken !!! (japanese version) it goes simply into BW when you perform standart Fatality,s

Those are Pirate NES games (mostly from China I think) of MK.
I actually played most of the Roms, there are horrible in every way.

The graphics arent even that bad.... for NES.

Kano VS Zoo??? Sure.


This is a very nice Idea, you can select a pallete Swap of every Character right trough the player selection! ;)





The mystery is solved, Nightwolf and Kahn are one and the same person.

when i saw that judge dredd pic it reminds me of Nba Jam Te where you can use sub/scorp/reptile and raiden i think, and the grid with scorp/sub and noob lol

fun stuff for mk4 is also that the faces in "The Well" level are from development team, the face in "elder gods" is Richard Y. Ho's and the faces in "Living Forest" are Ed Boon's lol

I love the walking of Goro. That makes me laugh every time.

Perhaps some day the Judge Dredd MK style mugen character can be completed. That's if some of the MK mugen developers realize they need to listen to someone that knows about the game a bit more...

MK3 for the NES graphics look pretty good for a NES game. THo I think they could have done better with NES's capabilities if they had a more talented develpment team.

By the way, there is also a pirated version of DOOM for the NES.

Ah, Japanese MKII. The green Fatality is cute. Any idea why it goes black-and-white for the standard Fatalities? Do you know if it's style, or censorship? The idea that nothing is censored in Japan is a myth, after all. However, the US release of Kill Bill had those black-and-white scenes, and in Japan, they were presented in color, so... :x 'tis confusing.

MK Game Gloves!!
Just think about it, entering an MK tournament, and than you put your arms on the Machine and everyone see that your wearing MK Gloves!!
This will give you respect and most opponents will not even try to fight you, I think it gives you also an 50% better chance to perform Kung Laos Infinite, because your wearing the MK Game Gloves!


If you already have the MK Game Gloves you also need the official MK Warrior Watch.
This Watch doesnt just look very cool an make you to an MK Pimp, it also helps you by timing your Combos better, just use the MK Warrior Watch!
You will see, Strykers corner Infinite will be easy if you time the HP into Machinegun with the MK Warrior Watch!


With the Gloves and the Watch you finally need something leet to sit on.
Do it with the official MK Stool.
Its maybe a little bit short to sit near an MK Machine, but hey! you have to take the handicap, because your sitting on the official MK Stool!

With that equipment you dont have to fear any opponent, because your the MK Pimp.

Today I played the shitty Area 51 Blacksite, the only thing that made me smile about the game was this lol:



There is even some character select music when you are near the machine, and after a while it say,s Reptile.

I've actually gutted an old Midway cab (back inthe day at my old arcade :() and you can really fit 2 people in one like that. :D

Edit: that Johhny Cage fallin down the stairwell is fucking epic. :D

You know, it would be sweet if they took the MK2 engine, put digitalized charcters from 300 in it, with the blood, weapons....oh man, that would be sweet.
