Free streaming software

Hey I came across this the other day in the coarse of my daily interneting and figured it might be of use to some of the guys that stream a lot.

http://obsproject.com/ Open Broadcast Software it is a free to use broadcast software. I don't stream but I've played with the streaming equipment for the hell of it. It doesn't seem as intuitive or as good UI as Xsplit but again, free.

Worth checking out anyway. Plus come on jamessmk it is actually called OBS, what more could you ask for?

Hmmmmm, I'll try messing around with it after I get my new laptop, but if it's not as good as XSplit (which I use) I really don't see the need.
