Freddy's Frame traps

Can someone explain this to me? out of the entire cast, Freddy is the one character I have most trouble with. How exactly does his blockstun work, and what does freddy's zoning game revolve around? What should I be looking for?

The only frame trap I know with Freddy is a guaranteed far spike after blocked GT/FF at mid/far screen. Check the m2dave strategy guide
