Fortress of Solitude Ship Invincibility

dont know if this is known already but I didnt see it anywhere.
i bumped into this today while playing some matches, apparently throwing the ship has some start-up invincibility frames. fast strings like 111 hit on the second hit.
i tried this also with KF vs BA, with same result, all hits whiff, even special moves like her slide.
the ship is thrown WITHOUT meter burning.
I think this is a glitch and should be fixed.

This happens on atlantis too, doesn't it? sure would explain a lot of things...

Yeah i know this and the beam in the middle of Atlantis have some invincibility frames for non power chars i would guess acouple others have this too
