Just thought this would help with all the same post comming up, feel free to add to it.
Unlocking Characters:
To unlock the hidden characters, you'll need two controllers. Go to "Arcade" mode
Both players pick any character, 1 player (doesn't matter who) win 1 round only.
On round 2, DO NOT do anything let the time run out. This will bring up the 3 lined code screen. 5 spots for each controller will appear. Player 1 has 5, and Player 2 has 5 =

The following are in order from which you have to input them.
Ermac - 12344, 44321 <> Classic Sub - 81835, 81835 <> Mileena - 22264, 22264
After you get the characters you’ll have to go to Arcade mode every time you play UMK3 FIRST! DO NOT go to XBL before you go to Arcade mode or your characters will be deleted.

Turn off auto-sign in if it's turned on. DO NOT sign in at the dashboard. Go to UMK3 and select "Trail Version". Upon starting up UMK3, it'll ask you to sign into your account, do so here. And from here do the usual, go to the arcade before you play XBL.
*NOTE* You have to get the characters before doing this. Get the characters, then everytime you play UMK3, you'll have to do the above. Moreover, you can be signed in at the dashboard if your NOT going to play UMK3. And if someone invites you to play UMK3 while your in the dashboard, or your playing a different game, and you accept, you’ll lose your characters.
Playing UMK3 on different accounts when HDD has been removed (New XBOX) System you DID NOT download UMK3 on
You’ll need two controllers to play on an account that’s not the original account in which you downloaded UMK3 on. Sign in on the account you downloaded UMK3 on first, then sign in on any other account as player 2, and UMK3 will be playable as long as the original account remains signed in.
Button Configuration? - No, not on XBLA.
Rain or Noob? - No, this is an Arcade port which Rain and Noob were never in. They were only in the SNES UMK3, and MKT.
