Explosive, mobile character for a main

Hey guys, I'm picking up MKX and can REALLY you use your help. I'm looking for a character that has a "hit and run" playstyle. Someone who can dance around an opponent and rush in land a combo or two and rush out.

For background, I played Akuma in SF and Sonic in SSB

What characters have a "balls out" hit and run and style that I can start with?

Reptile, not enough reptiles...
Cassie Cage is incredibly good for this, Jax is great for this, actually alot of the cast kinda are.

I've been maining Jax for a little while now. His rocket launcher and SMG variation rocks. His combos are hard hitting and fairly easy to string together. I really like his juggling options. B2 and hold it to charge overhead slam is a great way to catch your opponent crouch blocking and punish. Enjoy!
