Even MK_REO thinks the customisation system is far too restrictive


The fix:
  • Allow the current three-slot system for tournaments, and balance whatever's broke using the superseding "conflicts" restrictions
  • Allow either five(5) or half/50% of a given character's abilities to be equipped simultaneously in non-tournament mode customisation (effectively allowing for two, distinct builds, plus even a hybrid of the two)
  • Remove all two-slot ability restrictions -- all abilities to req. only one(1) slot to equip (superseding "conflicts" notwithstanding)
Misc:
  • Give amplification properties to all abilities that lack them
  • Tie Fatal Blows to both meters (full/100% requirement) and tweak damage output relative to FB efficacy and char. archetype (Shao Kahn's should be much more damaging than Erron Black's)
  • Allow Augment use in non-tournament modes, as promised prior to release (*currently, the Augments appear, but are inactive everywhere but against CPU dumbots)
  • Allow throws to catch juggle targets, as in MKX
  • Make throw normals unblockable and throw-techable
  • Fix unreasonable Krushing Blow prerequisites (SK's x3 spears / active Ridicule / "throw-reversal-punish-kounter")
  • Fix the "baby's first fighting game" KB's (down-2 KB only activates on the THIRD successful counter-hit; EB's forward-4 only activates if the opponent is below 100% defensive meter)
  • Provide a non-cinematic, real-time speed option for the Fatal Blows
  • Unlock all finishers for all chars., irrespective of Krypt / Towers challenges
  • Add co-op tag functionality, even if only for offline play
  • Add an auto-matchmaking option for Practice mode
  • Add option for best-of-five/seven rounds match configuration
  • Allow Player-2 to save their desired controller config., or to automatically share Player-1's (* PC version)
