People are being too instinctive about MKX and complaining about a ton of stuff. "It doesn't feel like MK" "New characters look stupid"
And the biggest one, "I hate interactables". I want to focus on this one
How can you even know if you hate interactables or not? How many games have they been featured in? They're only in Injustice and its certainly a possibility that some people didn't like Injustice as a whole and blamed it on the interactables OR that they felt it wasn't compatible with the game's fighting engine. Not to mention that it including them was experimental because it had no been before in a 2d fighting game so there is so much potential for revision and new ideas. Anyways, these interactables will be featured in an engine with different character speeds, pacing, stage sizes, and camera sizes. You can't assume they'll have the same effect as they did in Injustice at all.
Don't judge something that'd been done only ONCE, because that's how creativity is killed. Be open minded, otherwise you'll get what you ask for, the same thing every 2 years.
