Ermac fireball blank online glitch...

Ok, Ermac is my main guy and noticed this glitch twice already. First time I thought it was lag but second time it happened last night online.

While I'm spamming Ermac fireballs, once in a while he'll shoot a "blank" meaning he'll do the animation but no fireball comes out. Almost like a Ryu "false Hadoken" but I'm sure this isn't on purpose since Ermac has no "Fake fireball" move

At any rate, I know there's not many Ermac players out there and it doesn't seem to be that important as it's only happened to be twice, but both times I was spamming fireballs a lot lol just odd.

I've also only noticed this online, I've tested this out shooting countless at my friends while playing offline and it's never happened. This has only happened to be online.

I've had this happen without spamming, but only twice. Just tossing random ones during zoning for chip and it has completely whiffed.

This happened to me offline once and I thought maybe EN made it invisible or something. This was a whiel back before I knew anything about the game so I just forgot about it, but it definitely did happen.

Interesting, well good to see others feedback and that I'm not crazy lol. It probably happens rarely though, I want to ask LIIloveujoe about this too as he uses Ermac too.

Speak of the devil this happened to me a few hours after I posted...

This was offline in training mode, I made a video of it:

Go full screen from your opponent, set them to crouch so the fireball will whiff, do a fireball and then input it again at the earliest frame possible after the first fireball and Ermac should do an invisible one.

It's similar to Kabal's saw blade where if you do one right after the first too early, the second one will not come out. Only difference here is that Ermac's projectile is not disabled if done early, just the fireball is rendered invisible.

So, apparently the fireball will come out and still be a threat to hit but just not visible, so it's an invisible fireball glitch? Nice lol.

This is rather deceiving.

^^^I thought that might b a reason, i have noticed that it has happen to me before with other characters if I did their projectile to fast. Good find. Maybe something worth fixing?
