not neccesarally.... if you play through MK:A with reptile it states how he was changing back to his human form.

and yes the Reptilian for blows when i first saw MK:4 I was Like WTF!?!?!? but when i got MK:A for 10 bucks -beating it with reptile was my mission cause i had to see what the ending would be
