As of this post, DarthArma now defends a three-win streak at the Break Weekly! The number of participants saw a fair improvement since the preceding week, partly due to the return of players like RM ChrispyCream7 and EMPEROR HazeJupiter, the latter having won third place once again. After a long slew of exciting matches, we bore witness to a Grand Finals that had not been seen for a long amount of time: Darth Arma vs. EMP KDZ, who bore the alias EMP K Stands For Kool-Aid for some humor. Arma had defeated his friend in Winner's Finals, but KDZ returned the favor in the first Grand Finals and brought it down to a bracket reset.
As evidenced by the above image, the crowd was treated to a sighting of KDZ's new Batgirl - and no, before you assume anything, KDZ has not dropped Superman...in fact, he busted out the Kryptonian hero in a move of desperation after Arma took a 2-0 lead in the second Grand Finals set, only to be forced to "stay down!" Congratulations to Arma for coming out on top and major respects to both players for showing that commitment truly goes a long way!
A special shout-out goes to ISF AWG Indecisive for a noticeable improvement in his placing on the bracket by taking fourth place! His Shazam is arresting a lot of attention and it is clear that the best is yet to come.
Will our reigning top players continue to hold their thrones, or will the new faces rise up to overthrow the champions and begin their legacies? With how much Injustice has evolved as a game since the release date, you never can tell what will happen! Tune in next week for another Injustice tournament from the Break!
