Dream Convention July 26-28 in Austin TX - $1,000 Pot Bonus

An annual growing convention in the heart of Austin TX has been Dreamcon, and with it tournaments including MK this year once again. Last year was used as a reveal for Geras in MK1 if I remember correctly. This year sports a decent $1,000 prize pool and a decent amount of players at over 60 signed up. MK1 will be a one day event on Sunday and at least a single day pass will be needed to attend(seperate from startgg). The event takes place July 26-28 with MK on the 28th starting at 11am CST.

Did some research,

For those who don't know, the guys who made this con have had it for years, but it evolved into a sanctioned FGC event. Geras was revealed here last year!

RDCWorld is a group of 5-7 members of comedian skit maker geeks like us, cultured in pretty much everything. They've helped boost fighting game popularity in some of the skits they make, and now thier con grew to these levels. If i end up going, i'll be sure to go over the pros and cons because the growth for new events is highly needed. Covid and business killed ALOT of events with much promise and opportunity (like PAX South in my home city, and RTX Austin) and MK helps stay alive when it's at any sanctioned FGC event that isn't on the max level like, evo or CB.
