Question Down 2 + 3

Billy Dha Kid

Day 1 phenomenal grab immune
Do any of you Grundy players ever use d2 + 3? Is it useful? Does it have a purpose? My theory is that NRS added it so you can get punished if you mess up d2xxWC(C) and accidentally do d2 + 3

Gunslinger since pre patch (sh/out to The Farmer)
I occasionally use it for quick stand setups, like double uppercut combos, and mix it up by doing either d23, d2~WCC~either f1 or b1, etc

BUT I DON'T MAIN GRUNDY LOLOLOLOLOL

>>R2 - BF4 = Unblockable.
Took me a minute to remember which string it was, that probably answers your question. It looks awesome, but it's completely useless.

So basically after the 3 part of D2 + 3 you have a couple of mixup options.
1. B1 DB2(mb) overhead + low mixup
2. B1 DB1(mb) overhead + overhead
3. F1 DB2(mb) low + low
4. F1 DB1(mb) low + overhead
5. Trait unblockable
Nothing mind-blowing but it's something :)

No, nrs likes to continue to create moves without an intended purpose just to dissappoint me...

btw this should be postedin the grundy support group thread.

BIG PUSHER
It breaks armor on lvl 3 doesn't it?
Again, that's f.2. It's the really long reaching punch move

F.1 is the very short shoving animation and it has little use outside of situational. I think I can understand the confusion because f.1 is so underused nobody really thinks twice about it.

Pretty sure the 2nd hit of D2+3 wasn't comboing. Looks blockable in these situations to me. Notice how it doesn't register with the combo counter.
