They had originally planned several characters to be in some group, all based on MK characters. The group was to be called "Blood Runs Cold" and eventually they scrapped the idea and I believe they had a guy come in for a short time called that.
I didn't realize he did anything before the Glacier gimmick. After reading this, the Glacier gimmick was a whole lot sadder than I expected. $500,000 entrance, $35,000 costume. How ridiculous. And all of this to have a 10,000 year old helmet refitted with velcro.
