Discussing about vortex/reset situations

Considering meterless and meter vortexes that a lot of chars have in specific situations, which characters in the game do you guys think it has the best and most viable vortex?

Batgirl has the best vortex. Can be meterless or metered (for ~27% or ~35% respectively), is reletively safe, and both starters lead to 38%+ midscreen and 50%+ in the corner.

Batgirl for sure. MMH vortex on HOJ is an honorable mention. Would be the best if it wasn't stage specific and corner only.

In a tournament situation, batgirl's vortex is the worst to deal with because you're going in to a game hoping you flip a coin right. Even if you totally outplay the batgirl player it's going to come down to who guesses right. No matter your efforts, she is eventually going to hit you and get you in that blender.

That's a bit defeatist. Several characters; (MMH, BM and AM being the main culprits) outzone her and force her to apporoach; they then have better options up close to make you deal with their shit.

Zatanna's vortex is probably more dangerous to be honest (overhead or crossup or low or overhead, overhead or overhead, crossup or crossup, overhead, or crossup, crossup) but it requires meter.

I think one of the most overlooked strengths of Batgirl's vortex is the number of ways she has to start it. Even when Frost was at her peak, you still knew exactly what she was trying to do, and she only had a couple of ways to get it started.

However for Batgirl, you have to worry about: 6 frame Flying Bat (MB), a quick overhead with deceptive range, one of the game's better lows, random cross-up d2's, her jumping 2 (and random ambiguous crossup j2's in the Sonic Fox setups), MB teleport, random Bola (even on trade), etc.. Not to mention the nonsense she gets into in pressure when she starts staggering strings and whatnot. It's an endless list.

This alone makes her vortex that much more potent. A random button from wherever gives her a chance of putting you in the loop.
