Different Console Controller Advice

I have MKX for Xbone but my local tourny only plays it on PS4. What is some advice anyone can give about the different controller layouts and what I can do to make me feel at home using a different console? or am I up a creek on this without buying a ps4 (which I don't wanna do)

I would buy a controller for ps4, I use a hori pad for when I play with people who have a playstation.

& buy a converter so you can use it on xbone, whether it's legal or not it doesn't really matter since all tourneys are on ps4 anyways

actually just looked it up and the madcatz controller retails at 60 and releases on feb.

There's no XBox One model, it's PS3/PS4 only, because SFV isn't coming out on the XBone
