Watch at 18:15 when asked about Kabal lore, he says “Kabal is a huge fan of the musical Chess”... then claims he just completely made that up. But only after an awkward silence while Ed Boon looked rather nervous and Derek looked shocked (like, “dude, what are you doing?!”), before they laughed it off. It was as if he just unexpectedly gave away a big surprise.
