The Lone Star Battleground is proudly presented to you by Mortal KombATX and Square One. Welcome to the first organized MKX tournament in Austin that is solely sponsored by Austin’s only MK group. The intent behind this is to bring together all players from San Antonio, Dallas, Houston and everywhere in between to show them that the Austin scene (while very young) is very dedicated to Mortal Kombat.

Pot Bonus: $250.00
Competitor Fee: $10.00
Casuals ONLY Fee: $5.00
Spectator Fee: FREE

This is MKX only. In the future, we plan to include other games.
We have the green light to start at noon for casuals, and the official tournament at 7.

The rules have been posted to the fb event page. And I also posted them below. Also, I forgot to tag @Cat

Tournament Rules

• Double elimination (must lose 2 matches to be eliminated)
• Matches are best 2 games out of 3
• Finals (winners, losers, and grand) are best 3 out of 5
• Unless a stage is agreed upon, both players must select random during stage selection
• Winner cannot change character or variation
• Loser may change character, variation, or return to player select to force a new random stage
• ALL characters, variations, and moves are allowed.


*Please remember to de-sync all controllers before and after each match.

Can't wait to see/meet you and the rest of the guys tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing Toki again and hopefully getting casuals in beforehand. I was too busy running brackets to play casuals last time.
