DBF Inputs

Does anyone have a strat for these inputs when doing them outside of a combo? With KF I do 22 then put each input in individually for her freeze but i struggle doing it outside of a combo, I play on a control and not a fightstick so any help is appreciated.

I read somewhere that the best way to do it is to take it as 2 command inputs in quick succession. In this case DB, F+whatever the special input is. I've tried it like this and it seems I'm linking a few more Shazam command grabs and I'm getting a lot more of them off. However even so it's still too unreliable for me to take it online. I usually mess up 2/5 times online and that is costly. Offline I'd say I'm 4/6.

yea the post above is the best way to do it, so say with killer frost command grab input would be db,f+2.
this really annoyed me till i got the hang of it

I pretty much roll down back like a fireball then press forward + 1/2 at the same time as fast as possible. It takes practice but gets pretty easy once you get the feel for it.

If you wanted to link it off of a d1 you need to get the grab input done between when the animation starts and ends. I'd say thats the best way to work on levelling up your quickness of inputting the command grab.

Wow, I never thought of trying it that way. I'll try it out next time I practice with Lobo. Thanks for the idea

I usually just use the circle method. I just run my finger across d and b and end with the f. Like... a triangle or a half-circle. :16Bit

It's an unfamiliar input to me as well. It WILL get easier with practice bro, just hang in there. Soon you'll be busting out dbf whatever just like hadokens.
