D2, command grab input help + secondary question

I want to come back to the game and level up my Bane a bit but noticed, that I have a pretty big problem with the D2 grab input. Any tips?
Also, I want to find a secondary character since I put time only in playing Bane. My first picks are: Sinestro, Flash, BatGuuurl or WoWo. Halp me TYM ! <3

Basically this, practice by doing d.2xxdouble punch since standing 3 is an ass move.

As to your second question, you've gotta pick someone who beats Zatanna or learn how to deal with reversed controls.

I struggle with doing d2 command grab as well, so thanks for the tip. Going to practice this a bit more so I can get it more consistently.
