Converting UMK3 into MK3 by removing chips?

Is it possible to remove the chips that are basically the UMK3 update for MK3 so that you have MK3 again?

Or do you need some extra MK3 chips then again?

For the question why someone would do that, well the AI is smoother to play in MK3 and the tower is longer without the boring endurance matches.

No you cant just pull them out and have MK3. From MK3 to UMK3 they changed 4 sound chips and added 4 more sound chips. They also changed both data chips. You might be able to get away with it by just swapping the data chips. If that works you may not have any sound or incorrect sounds.
