I've noticed that sometimes I have connection problems with UMK3. Sometimes, when both I and my opponent both have ready signals after one or two matches, the game won't start. This has happened to me on several occurances, and is unreasonable because I have a fast cable internet connection... is this an in-game glitch, or is it a problem with sometime else? (Probably the former, because I find that this can be easily solved by quitting and creating a new game...)
