Classifying zoning vs. rushdown

Since each fighter seems to fall squarely within zoning and rushdown definitions, who is classified as what? Some are pretty obvious (Sonya's an offensive beast, while Shang's a zoning character), but it'd be nice to have a succinct list.

zoning = more defensive type characters meaning they have good projectiles or other specials that can keep the opponent at bay

rushdown = more in your face type fighters with attacks that leave their opponents at slight stun after hitting them and they also have good mixups

Rushdown:Always in your face, keeps pressure up close
Zoning:Wants to keep distance

while most characters can do both, im going to list them separately just for listing sake. these are all IMO.

Close Range: scorpion, smoke, mileena, JADE, cyber-subby, sonya, jax, johnny, Kunglao, lukang, kano, N.wolf, kabal, baraka, raiden.

Ranged: subby, reptile, ermac, Saibot, kitana, sektor, cyrax, sindel, stryker, kabal, shang tsung, quanchi.

honestly though... most characters can be lethal at all ranges.

i have yet to take every character to the practice room since i ask for next weekend off to
go to powerup i been working a lot of hours in the last day so based on my trainning as today
