Chip damage counted in a combo?

MAYBE ALREADY DISCOVERED!

So for CSZ's reset of jip u4xxmedium bomb, dash, 211+2, I think, but am not sure that chip damage can be a part of combos. If you are fast enough, which isn't hard, and hit them with the 2 after the bomb, then the combo does 20%. If you just do nothing after the medium bomb, the combo does 19%.

Is this actually a glitch? Already known? What?

happens sometimes with other characters too... sonya and kabal more often than others. just another weird mk9 thing /shrug
