Character Gimicks/Tactics to Learn to Beat

I'm in EVO mode and unfortunately playing catch up with match ups. Being an NRS game, match up knowledge is of utmost importance so I'm going through the roster and learning the string and frames to respect. However to streamline things, what gimicks/tactics should I be on the look out for that will expose someone who is ignorant to the character? Frame trap set ups, vortexs, etc...

EX: GL spamming b13, db2 on block, you can always back dash it and punish.

But my advice would be to learn batgirl, KF, and scorpion vortexes in their respective forums. Superman's corner combo and dive bomb wake up frame trap.

Black Adam's combos may be different now (most don't rely on lightning cage so much anymore). His dive kick is highly punishable now.

A batman gimmick that usually works is bats attack from the front while he crosses you up from behind. It is highly effective so when you see batman dashing in with his bats it's because he's going for that setup. Best thing to do is push block or dash backwards if your char has a good backlash.

Raven is all gimmicks, should definitely read up on that match up because she can tear you apart if you decide to press a button during demon mode.

Hawk girl invincibility frames on her moves is also very important to be knowledgable about.
