We've all seen his announcement trailer at evo and his descriptive trailer where Boon elaborates on his variations however recently public players have been able to get a hold of MKX at events such as Gamescom and PAX and look at Raiden in greater detail.
According to recent speculation, there have been a number of changes to Raiden such as his X-Ray no longer being what we saw at evo (shock therapy) and is now reminiscent of Shazam's super and possibly also Bane's super from injustice and has been renamed 'Skydrop'. One member of the community who personally saw the new X-Ray attack describes it clearly: http://imgur.com/bgRYdl4. Other changes which are more official and confirmed by NRS include Storm Lord variation becoming 'Master of Storms'.
