Local Battles has become the Friday Night NJ Spot for all your fighting game needs. I heavily push MK there because that is the only fighter that I play & the owners of the venue have shown 110% in support of the MK community.
True, but we've been playing on PS3. Not sure where the consoles have been coming though; I don't know whether LB is providing them or some generous folk bring their own.
I hear you dude, I'm originally from Toms River. I actually drove right from the session last night to Galloway. By the time we're done playing all the shore traffic is cleared out. You should totally come out next week; you'll feel like you leveled up like crazy. Plus we're all totally cool.
Probably about an hour an a half. You would want to take the turnpike to the parkway and since you're heading north, there won'y be any traffic on the parkway. It's totally worth the trip. Rounding up a few friends would be even better.
