Captain Ginyu General Discussion

I haven’t actually played the game yet But from what i’ve seen so far and for accuracy’s sake, there is something i’d like to bring up. I think it’d be cool if the character that the Ginyu player switches to by using the exchange move should have to retain the body exchange move as A super. I say this because even in the anime when Ginyu was in Goku’s body he was able to body exchange back into his own body. Gimmick and all i think it would be a little less “you’re fucked” when it happens To You, whilst also opening up more mind games/creative opportunities for the Ginyu player since they can switch back if they choose. Not to mention itd be accurate to the Anime!

Anyways im excited for the release and i hope everyone has fun powering up and kickin ass

I'm sorry, you want to make this 3 bars, incredibly difficult to land move that doesn't even guarantee you a dead character like some of the others even less beneficial cause your opponent can just do it right back?

No, I think he's saying that Ginyu (the OG one) should keep the move. So like, if you body snatch Goku, you should be able to still do the body snatch if you want your Ginyu back

Btws, nobody should be in this thread unless they have this on

Uncle JBeezY is gonna keep it all the way live. On paper, he sounds frickin' crazy with all the damn assists. I mean, he sounds like a frickin' MVC character causing chaos on the screen, right? WRONG! DEAD WRONG!

He takes too much time to set up those assists, kinda like Nappa. This game is very face paced, and all it takes is a vanish right when he tries to summon his Ginyu brethren. I WILL SAY that his level 3 is the best damn thing he has. Probably the ONLY thing he has thats really good for him. Since hes not really good and lacking attacks, making your opponent's team play him with low health would fuck up any team.

I tried some casuals with him, and not feeling him at all. I tried, but this character is a no for Uncle JBeezY...at least for now

I'm a scrub but I doubt vanish will actually punish either of the Ginyu Force summons on reaction. I think you are too hard on him. He has a good level one super where you can cash out to make it a level three and he gets it off easy from his light dash attack. He has an auto double in his grounded auto combo and his Ginyu stuff gives him strong moves, he just has to find ways to use them with the order and without having a typical Ki blast. Maybe he needs assists to really shine but I think he's potentially a strong character.

Both him and Nappa are crazy strong lol two real dirty ass characters you can't write them off like that

I’m out right now and trying to theory craft. Couple of questions;

Do the Ginyu force assists disappear when switching character? Saibamen do, wondering if Ginyu are the same....

Which move is Ginyu’s assist (ie when he’s not on point). Can’t remember rn.

Tested for you real quick. Ginyu Force disappears on switch.. and his assist is the elbow lunge.
