KENSHI KOMBO THREAD!


Before I go waste a boat load of my time cataloging the combos so many of you were kind enough to post in the last kenshi thread, I would like to say something.

I'M FRIGGEN SICK AND TIRED OF "KOMBO THREADS" THAT BASICALLY JUST THROW YOU TO THE WIND AND SAY "Here, i made a thread where people will put videos and notations, but you will have to weed through 10 pages of responses to actually find good ones first. IF YOU'RE GONNA MAKE A THREAD THAT CATALOGS COMBOS, ACTUALLY DO IT.

i had the same problem in the sektor forum so i just made my own combo thread where i update the combos and it eventually got stickied.

oh a combo for kenshi umm

the standard BnB

f22b1 (dash) f32~db1 (walk forward slightly) f32~bf2 - 35% midscreen and pushes them to corner
 
It's F+3, 2 not F+3, 1.

Low starter: F+3, 2, db+1, dash, F+3, 2, bf+2 (26%)

(Ex) slash, dash, F+3, 2, bf+2 19% (22%)
 
Thank you gentlemen/ ladies (yeah right). I went to the last kenshi combo thread and pulled about 50 that people had posted. I'm to tired to do it right now, but later on I am going to go through them and organize them into the thread. Thank you for the contribution

Just to note, none of these use a JPS, you can add 3% to each one if you do a JPS first.

44% Corner with no NJP after f22b1 and no meter:

f22b1, 2, 21b2, 3~db1, 114~db1, d1~bf2

Last 3 kick is very hard to time, use d1 if you have troubles but then you should be doing the 44% instead.

Not sure of the % on this one, but it is a midscreen combo that does more than the BnB 35%.

yeah that last combo is prolly 38%

i hit the f22b1 f22b1 f22 in practice once i was so mad cuz i was going to do db1 after but didnt have time cuz i was like OMG i landed it lol

edit * kenshis f22 and b2 are so good :)

We are many.
Easy BnB, lI'm sure there's better ones but this is safe start and is pretty much the easiest.

f2,2,b1, db1 , f2,2,b2 - 30%

And then there's the overhead, 2,1,b2, db1, f2,2,b2 - around 25-30

and the low starter f3, 2, db1, f2,2,b2 - around 20-30

Just did a BIG OL UPDATE on the thread. These are the results of all the combos people posted in the last kombo thread. I put just about every single one i found in there, so quite frankly, theres a chance that there are some repeats in there. I'll add the ones you guys added in this threads comments at a later time. for now, people, enjoy!

One note, you should remove the jump punch (jump 1/2) from all combos. Just about every combo can start with a jump punch, so including them in the combos only buffs the damage and makes it difficult to determine which combos inflict the most damage.

You are correct. Most of them I didn't put the jump punch in but towards the end i was getting really sick of trying to adjust the notations people used so the thread would be uniform, so i eventually just stuck it in there. I'm actually going to be sifting through these combos at some point soon, organizing them by damage, removing the repeats, and trying to find the easier higher damage ones that we can start using as bnbs. Much work is yet to be done.

Yeah, that 3~db1, 3~db1, 3~bf2 part is really strict timing that's why I suggested f22~db1, 3~db1, 3~bf2 for easier timing and 44% in the other combo thread. Also, after trying out your combo, I realized there is almost no reason to ever do NJP when you can do 2 instead for the same damage and easier timing. So for example:

f22b1, NJP, 21b2, f22~db1, 3~db1, 3~bf2 would just be f22b1, 2, 21b2, f22~db1, 3~db1, 3~bf2 for another variant of a 44% corner combo.
